Three years ago I started working at Ironport when there were only 80 employees,
Tomorrow, I will be approximately employee number 50,480 at Cisco. I suspect they’ll start referring to me by my number. I don’t look forward to being in a large company but I’ll give it a shot and see if the benefits are worth the disadvantages.
Aki and I booked a trip to Europe for this September (We needed to do something with my new Cisco stock). We’ll be visiting Belgium, Holland, and Spain.
We are looking into starting a high end online store for high-end Japanese dog products. (stuff my grandparents would never understand). The hard part is tracking down manufacturers since Aki has never done it and I don’t speak Japanese. We’ll keep you posted on our progress.
In different news, I got a new laptop today (unrelated to the merger). I’ve been playing with a service called flickaday where I upload one picture a day and over time it creates a movie of my still pictures. Perhaps someday I’ll end up with something like this:
