We bought a new grill last week. Aki’s wanted one for a while and we finally found one that wasn’t obnoxiously large. Narually… now that we have a new grill we had to throw a BBQ. Here are the pictures. Surprisingly I managed not to screw up the food (thanks Brandon!) and a good time was had by all.

The web site was down due to a small work emergency. Dennis had to hijack the site to finish a project so we went offline for a couple of weeks. We’re back now and should be around for a while barring a hardware crash.
Aki and I returned from North Carolina last week. It was fun seeing family again and getting some time to slow down and relax.

Aki and I had our first Christmas Dinner at home this year. Shiho brought her Mom, Dad and Grandmother and we had salmon and ham. Thanks to Shiho, Jax again came to the realization that he isn’t always the cutest one in the room.

Due to a series of technical issues and time constraints we’ve been blocked from the internet. Fortunately we were able to recover and now we are back.
So what have we been up to?
First, we did a bunch of repairs on our house as a part of our floor upgrade. Our 1 week project that we started prior to moving in turned into 3 months.
Just as those repairs were finishing up, Jax arrived. People say he looks like Aki but has my eyes. He’s now 9 weeks old.
We’ve been pretty active on the weekends, last weekend we went to Gwynyth’s 1 year birthday. I don’t think the kids knew what was going on, but they all seemed to have a good time. Jax came and he was exhausted in less then an hour. He spent the rest of the party hiding under my chair as we hid from the gang of toddlers.
